It is extremely difficult to explain to one of Jehovah's Witnesses - or to anyone for that matter - how the resurrected and glorified Jesus can be God Almighty and have God Almighty as his God at the same time. Many have tried using all sorts of philosophical arguments that fly in the face of all reason. I just read a philosophical explanation to your question right here that blew my mind, as the saying goes. It sounded like somebody reached back and grabbed a Greek philosopher by the neck, yanked him here onto Yahoo Answers and pulled the philosophical reasoning right out of his mouth. Pure gobbledy-****, certified, bona fided babbling.
Probably, no one can explain how Jesus can be God and have a God because it defies reason, it defies logic, it is unbiblical, unscriptural and a contradiction of all that God has taught us about himself, and a contradiction of all that our Lord Jesus has taught us about God. Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is a god and that fact is undisputed. But being a god, being a divine being, does not, by definition, translate to being God Almighty.
P.S. Wow. For some reason the latter part of the expression gobbledy*** (it starts with a "g" and rhymes with book. Not the one that starts with a "g" and rhymes with luke), is now apparently looked upon as racist. Go figure. Well how about gobbledy-smack or gobbledy-gunk? Is gunk racist? Will THAT get pass the censor?
