Anything that is seen as a lie is an interpretation. Yes, there are many literary techniques to emphasise the importance of people, places and events, but there are no lies.
I will add, however, during the translation from Aramaic to Ancient Greek to English, words were twisted. For example, "Man" originally referred to "mankind" and caused the patriarchal society we live in. Other than these mistakes, the Bible is a story to be interpreted, and if you interpret lies, then that religion isn't the one for you.
