The ONLY bedrock of truth is God's word, as Jesus indicated in prayer here - John 17:17 - Sanctify them by means of the truth; your word is truth. - - - - And as his words show, this truth from God's word leads people to be sanctified, to have a clean standing in God's eyes. Since God's word is truth as Jesus mentioned, it is NOT contradictory. However, if the teaching of the trinity were true, it WOULD make God's word contradictory to these Scriptures - John 10:36 - do you say to me whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? - - - - John 14:28 - You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I am. - - - - Jesus himself NEVER claimed to be equal, nor co-equal to God, in any way. His apostles understood this. Because just as was written, it would be a mental seizure for Jesus to have considered himself to be equal to God - Philippians 2:6 - who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. - - - - At this point in time when Philippians was written, Jesus had already been resurrected in the spirit. So he was existing in God's form, that is in the spirit. But even at that time, he NEVER gave way to a seizure, namely that he might consider himself equal to, or co-equal to God, as part of some trinity. So, the bedrock of truth about God and Christ Jesus is this: That Jesus and his Father, are just that, a Father and a Son. Clearly, the Scriptures do NOT teach a trinity. And it is God's will that everyone come to an "accurate knowledge of truth" - 1 Timothy 2:4 – whose (God’s) will is that all sorts of people should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth. - - - - In these last days, the book of Daniel indicated that "true knowledge" would become "abundant." - Daniel 12:4 - “As for you, Daniel, keep the words secret, and seal up the book until the time of the end. Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant.” - - - - Jesus spoke about this same activity in the time of the end, of people that would "rove about" and make true knowledge abundant - Matthew 24:14 - And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. - - - - The preaching of this good news has been going on for over 100 years. We must be getting close to the fulfillment of Jesus words at the end of that Scripture where he said, "then the end will come." - - - - The Scriptures call God the Hearer of prayer - Psalm 65:2 - O Hearer of prayer, to you people of all sorts will come. - - - - For all that want to find out the accurate knowledge of truth, I urgently encourage you to pray to the Hearer of prayer and ask him to put you in touch with those preaching the good news.
