There are no earphones I know of that directly connect a cat five cable fitted with a standard internet connector directly, although there are adapters that can bastardize the purpose of the wire to cross adapt it as an analog music connecton wire. Internet signals are not analog, but computer blips and bracks that are computer decodable only, similar (though faster) to telegraph signals. so, given the wires purpose and per foot cost, it is not normally used for musical purposes, and direct connection to earphones or speakers, not normally part of its purpose. Otherwise called twisted pair wire, it is wound especially to be efficient at carrying computer signals. using it to substitute for for simple lampchord, in speaker connection is a waste, and it is generally not done as the resistance of the wire is quite high for audio use..
