I'm currently working on a story where young wannabe amateur buffoons have to submit an original piece of writing for review and an essay application before gaining the privilege of posting on this forum. And in my fantasy story, any and all questions containing the keywords "character names", "character traits", "dystopian", "fan-fiction", "first person narration", "Harry Potter", "magic", "songs about...", "super powers", "title ideas", "vampire", "werewolf", or "wizard" are rejected, the user's ISP is hacked and a truck with a loudspeaker on it is parked outside the person's home and the driver given instructions to blast "Just A Friend" on repeat for seventeen days straight. Also, questions are screened to detect whether or not they are actually homework assignments, and if they are proven to be, the lying, thieving, sneaky cheat of a student is forced to mine zinc with his or her bare hands for 8 months on bread and water. I'll be posting the link here so stay tuned.
Oh, on an unrelated note, does anyone have any good suggestions for a name for a short-tempered sarcastic prat who stands about six feet tall and weighs about 14 stone, he has red and black hair, drinks Samuel Smith Taddy Porter, likes grilled cheese and hates being stuck in traffic? And maybe a title idea for a story featuring him? Also what songs would you associate him with? And should I write in first person epistolary fashion or third person? And if he were to have a magic or super power, what should it be? Totes thanks in advance, LOL.
