How can i exchange a gift card for cash?

i recieved a superdrug giftcard from a friend who just moved to new zealand.
I dont shop at superdrug therefore there is no use for me but i was wondering if anyone knows if superdrug could exchange it for cash.However my friend gave me the recept but it says she ayed by card so how could i get cash from it?

There is no way you can exchange a gift card for cash. £10 on a card costs them maybe £3 cost on the goods. They will not give £10 for a £10 card.

You cannot, it has to be spent in the store.
They sell everything there for teens, you should find something.

It should tell you on the T&Cs printed on the card, but they probably won't exchange it for cash. You could always use it to buy Xmas gift(s) for others and spend the cash saved on yourself instead.
