Pretty much, yes. That is because there is not much needed skills in order to work for those types of jobs.
Even with JUST having a high school diploma under your belt, those are the only jobs you will unfortunately be able to work for - let alone, good luck finding ANYTHING for that matter without a high school diploma! You will never be able to make a decent income to even live on your own financially.
It's fine to work those sort of jobs when you are still IN high school or college or trade school maybe... whist still living at home, focusing on your studies -
but not realistically long term for the rest of your life.
The way society views it is... unless you have qualifications from a certain trade though trade school or a degree, you will be (unfortunately) looked at as uneducated and skill-less, therefore, you will only be limited to public service, minimum wage positions such as working at McDonald's , as a Housekeeper, janitor, etc. (and even being a house keeper or janitor, most companies will want you to have some sort of experience background in the position.)
Unless you can show employers that you are even OVER qualified for the position in which you are applying for, most companies will not hire someone who is not even a college graduate nor again, a trade student in a specific field, let ALONE not even having a high school diploma.
