The people who contributed to and created the original Bible had no science. Thanks to Aristotle, they deliberately pretended their own mental experiences were actually real. There is no actual science in the Bible because the ancients literally denied the existence of physical matter. They pretended their own thoughts and perceptions were actually real and anyone who dared to disagree was very likely burned at the stake.
It wasn't until 1641, that Rene Descartes became the first person to correctly distinguish between objective physical reality and subjective mental experiences. This intellectual breakthrough freed western civilization from the philosophical tyranny of Catholicism, laid the groundwork for the Industrial Revolution, and began the systematic study of the physical realm we now call science.
[Galileo Galilei was studying the nature of the physical realm decades before Descartes (until about 1633), but Galileo did not concern himself with the nature of thought and perception, while Descartes studied it extensively, including the dissection of animals and human corpses. Both Galilei and Descartes were Catholics and lived in fear of the Church after publishing their conclusions. It's worth mentioning that this is the same Descartes who also invented Analytical Geometry.]
