I have an automatic nikon that fits inside the palm of my hand, and takes simply marvelous photos, no need for big and fancier equipment, as an amateur. Listen: they KNOW you're an amateur, and if they're willing to risk it, assuming they're saving money by doing so, so be it. You can have great fun, take lots of pictures, play with them on by editing them in photo editing programs on line, there are free ones, and send them your best ones, do it by email, and let them take it from there. If they want you to create the actual cards, that becomes both more complicated as well as expensive, and i would at least ask them to cover your costs. Warn them in advance , remind them that you aren't a professional but will do your best, then have fun ! Good luck!
