Your coursing is more directed to specific areas of study, according to my understanding. We have primary school-basic reading writing and arithmetic, to a certain degree with some inter societal education (other culture exposure) with some Physical Education (PE). Intermediate education-more reading writing and arithmetic with more social exposure, but mainly USA culture and some government, usually including PE and some competitive sports. Secondary education includes basic courses of reading, writing and arithmetic with PE and government, depending on year of study; courses that the individual is interested in may be taken in math, science, literature, foreign language, trades, history, social sciences and arts and PE and competitive sports. This is followed (if choose to attend and can afford to attend) by post secondary, if accepted by jr. college (2 years), college or university, in general studies and specific studies (2 years if degreed in 2 year college-4 years if full college or university). May choose trade school, but they tend to be privately delivered and can be quite expensive.
