Again, you gave basically no information. When did you buy it? Has it been used? Can it be resold as new?
I will say that I was pleasantly surprised when Lowe's accepted return of a smoker I had bought, assembled and used. The smoker was a baseline model, was crappy and didn't work well. The door design was so poor it didn't even close flush. No way to get the chamber anywhere near 225F. Anyways, I'm not one that returns a lot of stuff so I was a bit nervous showing up with this USED smoker with meat drippings and char inside it, but they took it back without batting an eye. Even sent two people out to my truck to get it. Didn't even ask for the original box. One caveat to my story...I wasn't just returning the smoker...I was upgrading to a more expensive/better quality model. That may have made them more willing but I don't really know. Anyways, it was a very painless transaction from beginning to end.
