Since you are in the religion section, you must mean what is God's point of view. His point of view is really the only one that matters at all.
That being said, let's look at the scriptures to see what God's view is on this practice.
Colossians 3:5 "Deaden, therefore, your body members+ that are on the earth as respects sexual immorality,* uncleanness, uncontrolled sexual passion,+ hurtful desire, and greediness, which is idolatry"
1 Thessalonians 4: 4, 5 "Each one of you should know how to control his own body*+ in holiness+ and honor, 5 not with greedy, uncontrolled sexual passion+ like the nations have that do not know God."
1 Corinthians 6: 9 "Or do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom?+ Do not be misled.* Those who are sexually immoral,*+ idolaters,+ adulterers,+ men who submit to homosexual acts,+ men who practice homosexuality,*"
Galatians 5:16 "But I say, Keep walking by spirit+ and you will carry out no fleshly desire at all."
James 1:14, 15 "But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed* by his own desire.+ 15 Then the desire, when it has become fertile,* gives birth to sin; in turn sin, when it has been carried out, brings forth death."
You must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing.”—Leviticus 18:22.
The nations around Israel practiced homosexuality, incest, adultery, and other acts prohibited by the Law. Therefore, God viewed those nations as unclean. Leviticus 18:24, 25- "“‘Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, for it is by all these things that the nations that I am driving out from before you have made themselves unclean.+ 25 Therefore, the land is unclean, and I will bring punishment on it for its error, and the land will vomit its inhabitants out."
This view did not change.
God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene.”—Romans 1:26, 27.
God views such acts as unnatural because he did not create man to have sexual relations with another man, OR a woman to have sexual relations with another woman. These disgusting practices are viewed by God the same way he views the unnatural sex acts between the rebellious angels who came to the earth and had sexual relations with human woman prior to the flood in Noah's day. Genesis 6:4/19: 4, 5/ Jude 6, 7
There is nothing that would ever justify homosexuality. Not genetics, environment, or traumatic life experiences, such as sexual abuse.
Think about this example
A person may have what some scientists consider to be hereditary tendencies toward alcohol abuse, or he may have been raised in a family where alcohol abuse was commonplace. Certainly, most people would be empathetic toward a person in such circumstances. All the same, by no means would he be encouraged to continue abusing alcohol or to give up his fight against alcohol abuse just because he may have been born with the tendency or he was raised in such an environment.
Likewise, while the Bible does not condemn those who struggle with homosexual tendencies, it in no way condones giving in to those tendencies, whether they are the result of genetics or they stem from some other source. (Romans 7:21-25; 1 Corinthians 9:27) Instead, the Bible offers practical assistance and encouragement to help individuals to win the fight against homosexual practices.
1 Corinthians 6: 9, 10 " the Bible clearly states that “men who lie with men” are included in those who “will not inherit God’s kingdom.”
