Well, it might have offended atheists who are not liberals - and I'm sure there are plenty of them around! However, it seems to me that there has been a lot of reporting going on recently.
On Saturday 4 November 2017 I asked this question: Why have I lost 50 answers from the Religion & Spirituality section over the past four days? On 31 October I had answered 20,078 questions but when I signed on this morning it was down to 20,028. No points have been deducted so it isn't as if I've had answers removed for violations. Is this happening to anyone else?
What I've noticed recently is that lots of questions I've answered have disappeared - they've been taken down. I have no idea why my question was reported as violating community guidelines because the email sent to me did not give a reason. What's even more strange is I haven't seen a violation email from Yahoo in years! Now, all of a sudden, questions are disappearing like lemmings jumping off a cliff! Well, that's what it looks like to me.
I now think twice about which questions I'm going to answer because so many are being removed, and what's the point in spending time answering questions if they're going to be gone by tomorrow morning?
If Yahoo keeps this up people will stop asking questions and people will stop answering questions - which seems to defeat the purpose of the R & S section. It's censoring gone mad.
