I'm not a Trump supporter, but if true, depending on details...yeah, that is great actually. Nuclear Fission is actually a pretty awesome energy source. Zero carbon, economically competitive, base load power and it is the safest energy source there is according to the WHO's deaths/kWh statistic, and it's far environmentally cleaner than most...including solar panels when you consider full lifecycles.

And I'll bet the plan details involve extensive plans to guarantee minimal impact on the beauty of the canyon. Modern mining technology can get at stuff with very little external disturbance.
