A bridge camera is going to give you many more options than either of your other choices, and will have much better image quality as well.
Cell phone cameras have come a long way. Your phone has one of the best, but it has nothing on a good bridge camera. No, you can't snapchat from the camera, or Instagram, or post directly to Facebook, but some of them now have the ability to link to your phone and use that for the posting part.
I just went on vacation last month. I took my Sony A65 and kit (not a bridge camera!) my GoPro Hero 3+ Silver and my LG G6. And I used all three of them for photos and video. The Sony is the best of the three at both still and video, the GoPro is good for wide angle video, and the G6 is no slouch in the camera phone department. In some places, I used all 3 to take basically the same video and images, playing to the strengths of each.
If you must be tied to a single device, the phone will be OK. If you can tote 2, get the bridge camera. If you don't mind the issues of carrying so much, use all 3!
