Why both right-wing evangelicals and Islamic fundamentalists try to build nations based upon theocracies and religious rule?

In fact, on many issues they wholeheartedly agree, both right-wing Christians and Islamic fundamentalists oppose abortion, sex education, contraceptives, alcohol, atheism and homosexuality and they think any education system should be based on religion instead of science.. They say they are against Sharia they say ...but they share a lot of ideas...Social Surveys reveal that the general American population holds nearly identical levels of fundamentalist beliefs as Muslims, if not slightly more but our laws don't allow them to do a lot. They’re actually very pro-Sharia, highly engaged in trying to establish more Sharia, but instead are trying to establish Christian Sharia ..Because theocracies always are so lovely, forgiving and peaceful, sure they should try to ask any non fundamentalists Muslim Arabs about that.
