Absolutely NOT. Fossil fuel is not infinite; when we exhaust the fossil oil, then what?
We're destroying and killing wildlife and wildlife habitats, the first signal of what awaits us if we continue poisoning our air, lands and waterways.
Oil spills of 30+ years ago are still polluting water and destroy wildlife, wildlife habitats and flora, too.
We're destroying the same Earth for future generations b/c greedy oil companies OWN our elected officials... and all for greedy profits. They mock climate change but won't discuss it with facts or research results, like conservationists, environmentalists and scientists have been doing for many DECADES.
Didn't certain aerosol propellants almost destroy our ozone layer? All manmade, as we're now doing with pollution and poisoning of our air, land and waterways. At first, aerosol producers mocked scientific research and findings... but took notice when satellite imaging proved them wrong and WE took immediate measures, as we MUST do with fossil fuel.
WHY aren't alternative methods being explored and properly funded? Because of demagoguery and greed for profits by a handful of rich oil companies (still getting billions every year from taxpayer coffers to further boost their profits, to satisfy their GREED but we cut funding for education and healthcare, Social Security).
What will our future generations inherit? IS that the real reason space exploration is desperately seeking other Earth-like worlds that can sustain human life? HOW much air, land and water can we REALLY afford to continue destroying and poisoning?
