Is it ok to call Nicola Sturgeon 'Gnasher' then ?
Nadine Dorries, 59, angers supporters of SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon by cheekily calling her ‘chippy Nicky’ after this week’s strained Brexit talks in Downing Street. Could the attention-seeking Tory MP have been even more mischievous? Sturgeon, 46, doesn’t appreciate being reminded she was mysteriously nicknamed ‘Gnasher’ in her youth.
Personally I just go with that wee

There's nothing "mysterious" about it....Nicola was nicknamed "Gnasher" after Dennis The Menace's dog, Gnasher.... Dennis & Gnasher appeared every week in The Beano, a popular comic while she was in school, because her (pre-orthodontic work) smile resembled that of Dennis' mutt....

You live in a democracy of sorts where politicians can call each other whatever they like
