I seem to get 10 points for Best Answer and thumbs up instead of 11 points. Any idea why?

Yes, you earn 10 points for a best answer not 11. Any points over 10 are for the number of thumbs up you got for answering that question. Up to 50 points can be earn for thumbs up. As someone say please do check your points and you compare it to the best answer and you will see this also.

I think that you are thinking of the old format. With that I often used to get 11 points.

We are getting the one extra point on our best answers, checked on activity and it shows,

'Congratulations! Your answer was picked up as the best! · 2 hours ago 13 points'.

It should show on your points activity.

We all get 10 points for best answers and 1 more if it has any thumbs up when chosen. Thumbs up given after best answer do not give any extra points.

It has not been stopped and may be you are seeing a glitch.

I have noticed this too. There have been a lot of changes on Yahoo Answers, few of them for the better.

The TU must have been given after your answer was chosen.

You only get 10 points for best answer, does not matter how many thumbs up you might get.

it could be another glitch, I've checked mine and see everything is normal like before
