Does CO2 drive Global Warming? Will controlling the amount of CO2 in the air control the planet's temperature?

    No.

    97% of the co2 in the atmosphere comes from natural sources beyond our control.

    99.96% of Earths atmosphere is composed of Nitrogen, oxygen & trace gasses other than co2.

    Co2 comprises only .04% which SHOULD have an insulating effect.

    But the effect of making a 3% change (either way) in that .04% is beyond our ability to accurately measure.

    It will not CONTROL it. Scientists have been shown by direct measurements of in and out going radiation that CO2 is warming the Earth now. Over the last half century, the Earth has warmed, even as the Sun has been less bright.

    CO2 is one of several contributors to global warming. Controlling CO2 emissions will help a bit, but there are a whole lot of other pollutants involved in the problem.

    All non solids like exhaust, gases, smoke, co2 that rise into the upper atmosphere is separated by natures chemicals so the suns rays can warm earth as earth rotates to grow plants that give out oxygen & food so all species can survive. Mike
