Will this get me more toned?

I'm going to be running 3 times a week for 40 minutes straight. I know I can do it, because I started running a couple of days ago and today I ran again and the 40 minutes was seemingly easy, but I still sweated and muscles were killing me. I guess my mindset was better. In between running days I will be using some weights to work all my body. This will go for half an hour. I will also do some training that uses my own weight for half an hour. I will alternate these exercises between running.

So will this get me a toned body, if I keep to it?

I don't want to lose weight btw. I'm at the lower end of normal weight.

I'm already quite muscly, but there are a few areas that need trimming.

My eating habits aren't bad btw. Yes, I do have some unhealthy foods every now and then (doesn't everyone?), but this doesn't seem to affect me.

What do you think about my plan?

    Sounds pretty ambitious. Don't burn yourself out. 3 times a week is good. 40 minutes seems like a lot. You should know your capabilities. Go ahead with your plan, but back off if you get tired.
