Runtime error 216, Norton can't find Trojan!?

So I was given the error message:

Runtime error 216 at 004067CA

I've looked it up and pretty much everyone says that that means I have a Trojan... But running Norton while disconnected from the internet (as recommended) gives me nothing. Norton detects no errors or anything. The problem persists. I've tried restarting my computer as well.

What do I do? Is this even a Trojan virus, or something else?

    Hello,

Sorry for the trouble. I am Vineeth and I am from the Norton Support team.

As Chandra said, Run time errors are not caused by viruses or Trojans. However, if you wish to confirm it, please start the computer in Safe Mode with Networking and then run a scan using the free Norton Power Eraser tool: http://www.Norton.com/npe

    Thanks!

Run time error does not caused by virus and trojans. It is program failure to run correctly.

Go to event viewer and click application events and system events. It will give the clue where it is failed.

If norton could not start, then check its updates and repair. It is not virus or trojans.
