There are ways to change a system without removing peoples rights. Since when did it become ok for the US government to force Americans to pay for something? This is exactly what started the American Revolution in the first place. Britain was making us pay for stuff that we didn't ask for

I seriously never understood why private insurance was ever deemed a good idea in the first place. A real business makes money by providing services. Insurance makes money by denying service. It's like the opposite of a business.

And why would people want to be free when they can be forced by the government into purchasing a product?

Yes, changes need to be made. But not by forcing everyone to purchase insurance, and force all policies to have specific coverage that don't pertain to many of those people.

While I hate BFD O'Bamacare and would love to see it repealed there are a few things in it that I like such as not being able to be turned because of preexisting conditions.

  • The last thing the right want is for the poorest among us to live longer, healthier lives. It conflicts with their "Christian" morality.

Because it was affordable and you are more likely to be sh*t on by obamacare mandates.
