Suzuki Alto; stalls and then starter fails to crank (as if battery flat or engine seized). Any ideas?

Update:

Car restarts after one minute as if nothing was wrong.

if the engine stops you have either a fuel or an electric problem.your engine management system could be phucked.it could be overheating.your fuel pump might be u.s.your air filter could be blocked.it could be many things.take it to a mechanic, pay the money and get it fixed.

Any Jap car that comes into me with running faults the first thing I Always do is remove the battery clamps and clean both them and the battery terminals.
