In Excel how can I sort data from one sheet and use only a portion into another sheet?

I have a full list of data sorted by county on sheet 1 in Excel. I'd like to create other sheets having the same data but just by one county per sheet. Will VLOOKUP do this and how? Thanks

    VLOOKUP isn't really made for that. What I would recommend is using pivot-tables with filters for a different country on each worksheet.

    The pivot table mentioned earlier is the way to go


    if you want multiple sheets- just sort your original data by country then cut and paste one country at a time into a new sheet
