If a cat's whiskers are cut off, it will **** itself, run around in figure eights for awhile and then spontaneously combust.

On no account, in no way cut a cat's whiskers. The rule perform for the whiskers is that this ... The length of the whiskers is so long as the widest width of the cat. They're in a position to suppose their means round with their whiskers so far as where they may be able to and can't fit into. Ask a vet, they'll inform you the equal factor. In no way reduce their whiskers. Would you adore it if any individual reduce off your ears considering that they have been bugging you????

Cats have whiskers so that when they go into a bush or hole they can see if they will fit. As the whiskers are the same width as their body. If you cut off the whiskers they wont know if they can fit in holes and could get trapped. SO DONT DO IT!

Cats do just fine without whiskers, actually. The Rex breeds (I have a Cornish) have very few and very short whiskers, and they are quite athletic! The hairless breeds like the Sphynx have no whiskers at all, and aren't "handicapped" in the least.Source(s): many years of cat rescue

Each whisker control a specific part of the cat, withought even one whisker, the cat can't function AT ALL. They will not grow back so you must never cut off their whiskers, only a moron would do such a thing. If you know anyone who does that, call 911 because that would count as animal cruelty.

They will just grow back. Cats lose whiskers and grow new ones constantly.
