Most likely, yeah. I find that most people who bang on about intolerance all the time, are also a bit xenophobic. Also, they tend to ignore another point of view.
The Scottish Government, and even the rest of the UK, may well legalise gay marriage. However, I am of the opinion, that the Church has the right to refuse to conduct a gay marriage.
At the end of the day, the church is spiritually built on the laws and commandments contained within the Bible. Therefore, it would go against everything for the Church, be it Catholic, or Anglican, to allow and conduct a gay marriage. For the gay community to demand a government to force the Church to conduct gay marriages is, by definition intolerant.
We as a society may not agree with the Church's stance, but, we have to respect the rights of the Church in this respect.
