So, how will YOU be using YOUR vote next time around?

Before I get started with this one, please permit me to say this is a rather long question.

Please be patient, or just ignore…

Just like the Soviet Union before it, the European Union is now sinking under the weight of it’s own illegitimacy.

And so the only question is, will it end peacefully or will it end with violence, tears and blood?

You don’t really need to be a student of History or of Human Nature to see something very ugly coming down the road in Europe if things go on as they are.

There has already been social unrest in Greece and there will be social unrest in other European Countries as more and more People wake up to realize what is being done to them, and what’s being stolen, from them.

When you deny People a voice, and disconnect them from the Governing process, you close a ‘safety valve’, and unless it is opened again, you guarantee there will be an explosion.

Now, for all its faults, I am a person who actually does believe in Democracy. I also happen to live in a Country within the European Union albeit without the currency, so my belief in Democracy is very much similar to the beliefs a devote religious Person may have in God. I live in hope, but have faith.

I don’t regard Democracy as an end in it’s self however because I realize that Democracy is far from perfect. But from what I’ve seen, it’s the only form of Government that can be trusted with our freedom, and I do regard that as an end in itself.

The absence of Democracy is the reason everything has gone pear shaped her in Europe. Time after time, the People have made it clear they wanted to go one way, and their self appointed unelected Masters have pushed them in the opposite direction with a fanatical zeal that can only be described as Religious.

Impervious to reason or to evidence, they have insisted on pushing blindly ahead, no matter what!

And as a consequence, what we have in Europe is the worst of all possible Worlds; a kind of Mutant Statist Corporate Socialism, imposed from above by an unaccountable dogma obsessed Political Priesthood.

So far we haven two democratically elected officials removed from office for not doing what they were told.

The Greek Prime Minister committed the ultimate sin of threatening to consult the People in a referendum, and he was removed so quick you can still see the dust settling in the wake of his removal!

The Italian Prime Minister, a man with a Barnacle like ability to cling on to office no matter what was brushed aside like a piece of straw, and now Italy and Greece are run by puppet Governments imposed by a foreign power and can now no longer be described as Sovereign Nations by any measure of that term.

The Italians were even told not to hold elections in the New Year by an unelected bureaucrat from Brussels who calls himself the “President of the European Council”.

You see these People are very fond of giving themselves Grand Titles and salaries to match. I’m surprised they haven’t yet awarded themselves a chest full of medals, just like the Soviet Commissars they really are.

Predictably, they are using the crisis, the crisis that THEY created, as an excuse to grab even more power for themselves. They have now demanded total control over every Nation’s National budget. It seems the soft totalitarianism we had almost grown used to in Europe is now openly hardening into the more familiar Soviet style dictatorship, which People are now belatedly realizing was the goal all along.

Fortunately there is still something we can do about all this, at least on a National Level, democratically.

And that is why there has been such a surge of support across Europe for Freedom and Independence Parties, who have come literally from no-where in just a few short Years, not least here in Great Britain. Where the People have made it clear they demand a Referendum on our continued membership of this outrageous political swindle, this Federal Dictatorship in the making.

And despite the fact that all three of the main British Parties have promised such a referendum, recently in Parliament they killed a debate on the subject, when hundreds of MP’s from all sides simply rolled over and voted the way they were told to, because their poxy little careers are more important to them than the wishes of the People who put them there, and what’s more…they EXPECT, they FULLY EXPECT to get away with it.

And another thing, they FULLY EXPECT the voting public to vote “as usual” at the next election, and vote them straight back into office!

But I say to you, if these People can’t be trusted with the fundamentals, what can they be trusted with?

It doesn’t get any more fundamental that the Right to decide how, and by whom, we are Governed.

Without that right we might as well have no rights at all.

Continued below..

So wherever you stand in the Political spectrum, left or right, Red or Blue, yellow or green or somewhere in between…this is something that should be uniting all of us.

Because it directly and profoundly affects all of us and our Children in the most fundamental way.

If the fundamentals of a thing are wrong, it is likely that everything about it will be wrong, and will stay wrong.

This is why we have to fix the fundamentals first, and restore Democracy before we engage in tribal Politics, because without the right of self-determination none of our Politics will really matter anyway.

Nobody’s Political views are worth a damn, without the means to have them implemented.

The very People to whom they were entrusted for safekeeping have stolen those means from us.

Not just here in Great Britain, but in every European Union Country where the Political class has closed ranks against the People they purport to represent.

So…what are YOU going to do about this?

How will YOU be voting next ti

Update 2:

How will YOU be voting next time around?

All thoughts welcome.

I will vote UKIP because I want the UK out of the EU so we can save £50m a day and regain control of our own country. People will say that the UKIP have never been in power, I would say they can't be any worse than the so called three major parties so deserve a chance. They can always be voted out again.

Amazing in the world of politics the formula is simple. Most politicians target voters who rely on what they say and ignores what they've done. To sit back and cast your vote based on speeches and TV interviews defines an idiot. Regardless of party, politicians do nothing but spin and that spin to a voter that relies on words. The voter that actually sits back and realizes that a politician's action often conflict with their words, is the voter that realizes how important and powerful the "vote" is. As the politician sits back and tells you that they'll make it better ( city, county, state or federal ) and they actually make it worse, at least have the back bone to admit you voted for the wrong person. If not, then don't blame the politician. Blame the voter.

Your hypothesis has merit, but sadly the British electorate will not get past the first line.

Mien Kampf gives Hitlers formula for retaining power through fear, the threat of attack, rumour mongering the bogey man, imminent pestilence, big brother and your neighbours are watching you, ready to grass you up to the authorities. The formula may not be entirely unfamiliar!

Years of "Dumbing down" by the education system have removed any intellectual stimulus and replaced it with an urge to attain happiness through consumer goods, to stagnate in front of the TV and look upon the papers as scriptures. Reversing this conditioning is the key to reversing the corruption you describe, but how? From a purely academic point of view perhaps a war would stimulate more Realistic values.

People are claiming that he cannot push keys, but can push buttons on a telephone. Granted, McCain might have pain and cannot type in long duration, which is a perfectly reasonable assumption, but something is not adding up.

Here in our country, we are at the mercy of a two-party, very corrupt system.

The only candidate who hasn't wavered in his beliefs would be Ron Paul, but unfortunately, I don't see him winning, for the following reasons:

    1. He believes in smaller government and not nanny-statism

    2. He can't be bought and paid for by pandering to specific groups

    3. His foreign policy beliefs, will keep many Conservatives at bay

Yes, he'll get some of the younger voters and those are always the wackos who believe that he'll wave a magic wand and get dope legalized overnight. HA!

So there you have it. We are stuck with two evils and that ain't gonna go away anytime soon.

Even the OWS group, many of them here in Y!A will tell you upfront, that they'll vote again for Obama, one of the biggest Wall Street scumbags in existence today.

Why the **** do people comment on questions without actually reading them? What the **** has this question got to do with Obama?

Anyway, I agree with most of what you say, apart from the assertion that the EU is socialist because that is a nonsense.

Problem is that our FPTP system in the UK forces/blackmails us to vote for the big three parties, to vote for someone else is to have your vote count for nothing but a protest. And since the big 3 have conspired to deny us a say on the EU then sadly we'll be stuck with it unless we become so disillusioned with the big three we start electing minority parties, like UKIP or Greens.

Like I've said before I disagree entirely with everything UKIP stands for, apart from their stance on the EU, that being said I'm very close to voting for them to put pressure on the big 3. The Greens are quite Eurosceptic and have promised a referendum in their manifesto, so they get my vote next time round.

Nobody wants to read all of that because if they do, by the time they make an appropriate response, their response is pushed so low by one liners and insults that nobody cares about it. Then they spent all that time for nothing.

    Obama or may be...

My Brothers Do you know zeitgeist movement May be Zeitgeist movement is a solution for you and me do your own research. Today almost all world media in hands of New World Order puppeteers like Murdoch. They manipulate and brainwash people, many of us don’t understand or realize that we all victims of evil plans of NWO. Democrats and Republicans have both failed us. No one is looking out for OUR interests. Next, the Federal Reserve is a Private Bank that issues our currency and controls our Nations Credit. This is against Constitutional Law. It is the Treasury Department's job to do this. Recently the Federal Reserve printed Trillions of Dollars causing severe inflation. Then the Government used this money to give it to already Rich corporations as our tax dollars. This rigged markets and caused economic collapse around the entire world. These Corporations in turn used that money to give themselves bonuses.1. It consists of Homeless people, hippies, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, high school students. College students, adults, children, teenagers, democrats, republicans, libertarians, moderates, jobless people, people with jobs... every type of person there is.2. It is in every Major city around the entire world.3. All the protests in America and some other parts of the world are peaceful. But not every part of the world is protesting peacefully. Some countries have over thrown their dictators.4. It’s time to mobilize and aggressively move on common sense political reforms. We’ve had enough of… The Two-Party Oligarchy, Big Government,Big Corporate Power,The Concentration of Power It’s time to… ,Decentralize,Create New Political Parties,Restore the Rule of Law.The economic top one-tenth of one percent of the global population has launched an economic war on us. They are hoarding $39 Trillion in investible wealth, not counting the vast sums they have hidden in offshore accounts. In the United States, we now have the highest and most severe inequality of wealth in our nation’s history. While there is a record number of American citizens currently living paycheck to paycheck, in debt, unemployed, underemployed, without healthcare, on food stamps and in poverty, as our society is breaking down, global bankers have taken our tax dollars and given themselves all-time record-breaking bonuses. The same people who destroyed our economy have been rewarded with trillions of dollars in national wealth. It is now evident that both political parties and all three branches of government, along with the mainstream corporate media, have been bought off by global economic elite. As a broad-based network representing people across the political spectrum, we are working together to reach common ground and fight for pivotal political reforms. As long as the economy and government are rigged in favor of the top economic 0.1%, we will all lose. Here’s a general outline of our common ground platform:Enforce RICO Laws,Break Up the Big Banks,End the Fed,Break Up the Mainstream Media,Shut the Revolving Door,End Closed Door Lobbying,Increase Government Transparency,End Corporate Personhood, Amend Campaign Finance,Verify All Votes,Investigate War Profiteers,Investigate War Crimes,End the Wars,Reopen the 9/11 Investigation,Restore Civil Liberties,Uphold the Constitution,Clean Air, Water & Food,Reduce Healthcare Costs, Profiteering,Make Healthcare a Human Right,Improve Education For All, Reduce Costs,Reform Prison System,Reform Drug Laws,Immigration Reform,Rebuild Infrastructure,Protect Internet Freedom,Empower States’ Rights,End Corporate Welfare,Raise Taxes on Richest 0.1%,Reduce Taxes for 99%.These are the core common ground issues that we must urgently rally around and support. Unless we organize and take decisive action, we will all suffer the consequences of our collective inaction. Any politician who does not urgently move on these issues must be voted out of office and replaced by people who will aggressively fight on these fronts. Your Question I added to the star list. My Brother you doing good job do not stop!

your pretext is flawed. with faith in democracy, you intrust mobs with decisions. having a spokesperson with integrity keeps the brawls down. using a vote responsibly would incur choosing this person.think winston churchill.
