I am native Italian, and I have always lived in Italy, but I never heard such song.

I also googled for its text, and found nothing, except references to this movie.

Probably it was created just for this movie.

However the gondola driver has a strong Asian accent, and pronounces badly some words.

    His words are:

"La la ... la" (no meaning)

    "Amore mio"="My love"

    "dove sei tu?"="where are you?"

"ti sto cercando"="I am looking for you"

"tesoro mio"="my treasure" or "my darling"

    "Amore mio"="My love"

    "il tempo vola"="time flies"

    "prendilo, prendilo"="catch it, catch it"

    "amore mio"="my love"

Why does there have to be an Italian only song for this one - this song is original and the Italian lyrics has been created just to match the Hindi bits of the song - there is no original Italian for this song - this song is the original itself.

No, because this sentence isn't proper Italian. A correct Italian is ''amore mio, dove sei?''

Saying such thing as ''dove stai'' is a grammar mistake.

Great, at least I am happy that the tune for "Do labzon ki hai" is original and not copied from elsewhere. Thanks for the above answers, folks!
