Yes it does. But lemons work even better!!
You just have to dilute it if you have sensitive skin and apply it to your skin.

If you want a very good treatment method for curing the acne then you need to have a clear strategy of action to stick to to obtain the ideal benefits.

mix the white from an egg with honey. apply it to your face and neck and let it rest for 10 mins then rinse it off. your skinn will look amazing!!! i dont know if it will eventually erase scars but it is a nice boost to your kin.

No! In addition applying egg may eventually cause a hypersensitivity reaction. Depending on your age the scarring may effectively be permanent though it may fade somewhat with time. The only option is sometimes dermabrasion.Source(s): GP for more years than I care to remember

You can't "Heal" a "Scar". A scar is the result of the healing process.
Once a scar turns from red to skin-tone, all you can do is wait... If the scar is still red, you can go and pay thousands of dollars and get laser treatments but no, other than that, 99% of everything you see/read/hear about is BULLSHIT.
Vitamin E doesn't do Dick.
Coco Butter doesn't do Dick.
Egg Whites don't do Dick.
Lemon Juice can take some of the color away but it won't change the texture of the scar.
All you can do is take a sugar scrub and use it 2 times a week on the area and let the acids in the sugar eat away at the scar tissue, lowering the level... But if it is a pock-mark, that requires an actual facial dermabrasion treatment.
There is NOTHING you can do at home that won't either be an overt scam or will take 6 months before you really see any results.
If you INSIST on wasting your time and money to feel like you're accomplishing something, go to your local chemist/pharmacy and spend the $20+ on a SPECIFIC Scar Reducing Cream. They are in the isle with the band-aids and antiseptics.
As for ALL of the at-home, alternative treatments... IF THEY FU*KING WORKED, YOU WOULD NEVER SEE ANYONE WITH A SCAR OR SMALL BREASTS OR A SMALL PENIS OR OVERWEIGHT ETC EVER AGAIN BECAUSE WE WOULD ALL BE DOING IT IF IT ACTUALLY WORKED!
You do understand that, right?
We have this magic thing called the internet and if you actually had a means of getting rid of scars that you could do for pennies that worked there's no way that ANYONE could "Censor" this information... I don't care how much you believe that the Pharmaceutical Companies are keeping things hidden, if it worked, all you'd have to do is tell a friend or put it on a forum and someone else would try it and then it would spread like a wildfire...
End of story...
If you read about it on some hippy forum or hear about it from your friend who got it from her cousins best friend's former roommate, it is NONSENSE or does little to nothing.
