The author of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass" is Lewis Carroll. His real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson and he stuttered.

Carroll is caricatured as the Dodo (because Dodgson stuttered when he spoke, he sometimes pronounced his last name as Dodo-Dodgson.)
