How do I find out what server and port I need?

Í'm downloading software and it keeps getting stuck on a window that is asking for my server and port. I have no idea what this means - where to find out - can anyone help - is it stored on the computer somewhere???

If you're using FTP the port is usually 21

    http port is generally 80

    https port is usually 443

    SSH/SCP is usually 22

The server is the system you are transferring the files from

apart from the standard defined IANA ports ANY port can be used for file transfers
