Can someone help me make a scenario with the given vague script?

This is the script:

A: Oh my goodness

B: It cant be

A: But why?

B: I have no idea. Maybe we should leave

A: I have a better idea

B: great idea! how does it work?

A: Let me show you

B. im scared

A: did you hear that?

B: hear what?

A: There it is again

B: oh that, its just this

A: i havent seen one of those in years

B: Wait, dont do that!

A: oh no i am sorry i shouldve asked how it works

B: No problem. I have this!

A: Cool!!!

-----------------

I am not suppose to change the script in anyway. but this is for theater class and does anyone have any idea how me and my partner can act this out to make it make sense? what should our scenario be?

Here's one suggestion - stage directions are in brackets:

(A and B are walking, A trips over something and picks it up. It is an old-style oil lamp - like Aladdin's)

A: Oh my goodness (looking at the lamp and showing it to B)

    B: It cant be

A: But why? (pointing at the spot where the lamp was)

B: I have no idea. Maybe we should leave (moves to leave)

A: (stopping him) I have a better idea (takes out a match box)

B: great idea! how does it work?

A: Let me show you (lights the lamp with a match from the match box)

    B. (touches the flame and is burned) im scared

A: (Freezes in a listening posture, then) did you hear that?

B: (looking around fearfully) hear what?

    A: There it is again

B: oh that, its just this (takes out a rubber duck figure from his pocket and squeezes it to produce a squeaking sound)

A: i havent seen one of those in years (takes the figure and pulls the head and body apart)

    B: Wait, dont do that!

A: ( looks ruefully at the decapitated rubber duck) oh no i am sorry i shouldve asked how it works

B: No problem. I have this! (takes out another noisy toy and makes a noise with it)

    A: Cool!!!

(They go off, joyfully making a noise with the toy)

Hope this helps. You can use this to think up scenarios of your own. It's quite simple and fun to do. All the best.
