As a 1099 contractor, can I tax deduct my desk, chair, and printer in my home office?

I've been working full time for a client for much of this year, and most days I work from home. This year, I purchased a new desk, chair, and laser printer so that I could work from home. Can I tax deduct these items?
Update: Thanks for the replies so far. Just to be clear, I don't want to deduct the actual space where my home office is. I just want to deduct the desk, chair, and printer. Since about 90% of this stuff is used for work-related activities, that is the portion I'd like to deduct.
