classical guitar finger tendon damage?

I have ruptured tendon in my left hand index finger and therefore cannot play classical guitar as fret work is made impossible as finger is unable to bend. I am looking for advice on alternative methods of playing the classical guitar and details of any pieces of music anyone has reworked due to similar problems either from tendon damage or other injury/disability.

You have to avoid the rest stroke on the e-string, since it will damp the b-string.
