Firefox was programmed using a variety of languages.

C++, JavaScript,CSS, XUL, XBL were the languages used to make the program

    Good luck.

Primarily C++, but some other languages as well, as others have mentioned. You can contribute to the development of Firefox if you're interested, I did a bit for a project in one of my classes. Look around the Mozilla site and http://www.bugzilla.org/ if interested.

C++, and other web-related programming launauges. (CSS, Javascript), they also use a few in-house developed XML-based markup languages (XUL and XBL)

Many programs made today are often written or based of C and/or C++.
