    1) What is your age group? (5-20, 21-35, 36-50, 51-65, 66+)

    5-20 years of age.

    2) Which gender are you?

    Female (Thank God. ;D)

    3) How many books do you read a year? (0, 1-5, 6-15, 16+)

    6-15 books a year.

    4) Did you read a lot during adolescence/did you consider yourself an avid reader?

I find myself reading in nearly all of my free time. I'm very avid about finishing books and constantly wondering what will happen next and how the story will unfold.

    5) Do you believe that books have the ability to influence people?

Very much so. It can impact someones beliefs, someones thoughts, and how someone interacts with others.

    6) Are there any books which you feel have particularly influenced you?

First and foremost, the Bible. Other than that, my choice would be Crank and Glass by Ellen Hopkins. They taught me early on that drugs are devastating and ruin lives. I also appreciate the book Hope . . . Joy (and a Few Little THOUGHTS) for Pregnant Teens: Consciously Creating Your Legacy by Rachel Brignoni. They were the books that actually made an impact on who I am and what I believe in.

    Source(s): I love books. :)

    1) What is your age group? (5-20, 21-35, 36-50, 51-65, 66+) - 5-20

    2) Which gender are you? - Female.

    3) How many books do you read a year? (0, 1-5, 6-15, 16+) - 1-5 novels for the past while, but it used to be a whole lot more.

    4) Did you read a lot during adolescence/did you consider yourself an avid reader? - I did enjoy reading in my adolescence, yes. As to whether I'd call myself an avid reader, it depends. I still do read a lot, but not necessarily novels. The thing with me is, when I do read a book, I'm a pretty slow reader - I tend to skim through a page, go back, reread the passages, and think about the imagery and events before moving on.

    5) Do you believe that books have the ability to influence people? - Yes.

    6) Are there any books which you feel have particularly influenced you? - "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson, off the top of my head.
