How long does alcohol stay in your blood for?

My friend is going to a concert and then she has a blood test the next day. If she consumes quite a bit of alcohol, would a large amount still be in her blood the next day? Height- 5 foot 5 inches Weight- 56 kg.

It is quite possible for alcohol to appear on a blood test if its been consumed within 24 hours, but with a blood alcohol content of .15(pretty high) there should be no trace within 10 hours. However, ones blood alcohol content may continue to rise after the alcohol has been consumed, so it helps if you eat high protein foods with the alcohol. this will lower your blood alcohol content.

It depends on the amount drunk.

If you have a single beer, or a small glass of wine etc, it wont stay too long, a few hours.

But if you've had a few units, 3+ I'd guess, it can last a good 12 hours.

There are even cases where people can have gotten incredibly above the limit, and still be at 2 units the next day (24 hours later)

It depends on how much you drink, and of course your body, some people deal with it faster than others.

If you are asking about the ethanol in your blood we call this BAC. It depends on body weight, liver function and how much you drink. The first ounce is metabolized faster then the tenth. The conservative estimate is one ounce of alcohol (as in one pure ounce) per hour.

If you are talking about tests to determine if you were drinking alcohol some stay for about 3 days after you drink. They do not test for the presence of alcohol but rather what it was metabolized into.

How does a reverse phone lookup work?

It is a caller ID application that covers landline numbers, cell phones, and business lines in the United States. The way it works is simple:

There are many reasons why you might want to conduct a reverse phone search:

+ Find out the source of a harassing ("prank") caller

+ Research a number that appeared on your phone bill

+ Locate an old friend from high school or college

+ Research "missed calls" on your caller ID that you don't recognize

    + Verify an address

    + And more...

more than likely yes. It takes 20-60 minutes for alcohol to get into your bloodstream then depending on the number of units your friend consumes it will take the following until she is alcohol free

under 8 units, 1 hour plus number of units (2 pints lager, 6 units, so 7 hours)

8-11 units, no of units plus 1.5 hours (3 large glasses of wine, 9 units, so 10.5 hours)

    12 units plus - no of units x 1.5 (5 pints lager/glasses wine, 15 units, so 22.5 hours)

and thats from when you start drinking.

About 12 hrs max. Or I should say 12 hours after you have stopped drinking small traces can be found.
