try some tylenol or baby orajel. the teething tablets don't work well at all, especially when the baby becomes inconsolable and is very upset and screaming. my baby loves to chew on cold wet washcloths and he loves teething rings. our pediatrician also suggested a big peeled carrot so the baby can gnaw on it. hopefully it passes soon. my son started at 2 months and didn't get a tooth until 6 months.
when your baby gets a little older, you can give him baby motrin which works 10 times better than tylenol.
i tried every trick in the book with my baby, and nothing really worked until the motrin.
and the number 1 thing that worked for my son was whiskey. just a drop on the finger and onto his gums, he quieted and calmed down instantly. i was very hesitant using alcohol because well its alcohol, but he actually liked the taste lol plus he stopped crying instantly cause it works amazing.
just try everything, and see what works for your baby. good luck.
