What were your favorite childhood video games?

Mine were Soulblade, Tekken 2, Spyro 3, Tenchu and Super Mario 64. Good times!

Update:

More Spyro and Super Mario fans, aww. ^_^

I got totally nostalgic when I stumbled over the music from Spyro 3 on youtube:

To list of a good handful of my favorite childhood video games:

    Street Fighter

    Mortal Kombat

    Sonic The Hedgehog

    Super Mario

    Super Smash Bros.

    Pokemon

    Mr. Pac-Man/Mrs. Pac-Man

    Legend of Zelda

    Donkey Kong

    Final Fantasy

    SNK

    King of the Fighters

    Tekken

    Virtual Fighter

    Marvel vs. Capcom

    Crash Bandicoot

    Spyro

    Megaman

    etc.

All basically old-school series from classic game consoles such as Sega Genesis, N64, SNES, Gameboy/Game Boy Color, Sega Dreamcast, PS1 etc.

And I still play all of these series now(mostly the newer games in the series for the newer consoles such as PS3, Xbox 360, Wii etc.), so they're a part of my childhood and also a part of my present life.

Source(s): You can never outgrow the classics. :D

The first game we had when I was growing up was called Pong!!..It was the most boring thing I have ever seen!!..On a blank screen there were two poles in the center and a ball and you had to keep the ball in the center of the poles..Ok now...And meany of my friends would just get baked and play that stupid thing!!...I my self passed...Glad to see how things are now much better!!

Edit: Soulblade eh? My mom use to work for Namco, and she brought home this huge cardboard of Voldo and I was so freaked out. Imagine having that 8 ft THING in your room!

By the time my childhood ended, videogames were still a dream. I didn't see my first one until 1974
