It may be a spyware corrupting spybot's behavior or it may be an installation error.

I would download spybot and standalone updates.. then I would remove spybot from the computer... then reboot in safe mode (F8 when you restart... if windows starts loading normally... it's too late)

then, once in safe mode, I would reinstall spybot and updates... run the scan in safe mode... just to make sure a spyware is not interfering with normal spybot behavior

    good luck

You most likely have an infection called Vundo (also known as Virtumonde or Virtumondo)

Once spybot hits this virus, it will error out. As soon as you see this infection listed by spybot, hit stop. This will allow you to clean up what it has found. Unfortunately this will require possibly up to 4 scans to complete your virus scan.

An alternative [preferred] is to just download malwarebytes antimalware

and scanning, then you can remove malwarebytes if you would prefer not to keep it.

Uninstall it and re-install it....there is a missing or corrupt runtime execution drive for that program.....No other options.
