How much homework do you get in AP US history and AP Physics C?
And is the combination overwhelming?
By the way, I will be a sophomore, if that helps any.

Depends on the teacher. When I was in high school there were two teachers teaching AP US history, one of whom was very hard and the other was so easy (which we all liked until it came time to take the AP test).
You can expect to read a lot every night, and the textbooks have longer chapters than you may be accustomed to. It shouldn't be overwhelming if you set up a schedule for yourself, take comparatively "easy" classes in that semester, and don't have any outside commitments (like work for example).

APUSH except to read up to 1 - 2 hours a night. AP Physics C is crazy hard, most schools don't offer it. Do B before C.
