Some people argue that we are naturally omnivorous, that we have histories as hunter-gatherers. Others will argue that we come from primates, who are gentle vegetarians. Another important point to consider is that we are the only animals with consciences, cognition, philosophy, and in some cases, the power to choose what we eat, as well as intelligently modify our diet to be healthier. In that sense, you just have to weigh the choices and the information about health, preference, ethics (for yourself and industrial meat), and ecology. I've also heard the argument that human teeth are more similarly structured to herbivorous than carnivorous animals. I'd be really impressed if you personally hunt and eat your prey.
