Do you believe Jesus is...?

For people who believe in the existence of Jesus in history:

1. do you believe Jesus is the actual son of God and the product of virgin birth?

2. or, do you believe he was a wise man who lived and taught, but was not a divine being?

If you believe in the second concept (wise but not divine), do you still consider yourself Christian (or are you of another faith)?

Thanks!

    YES!!

HE WAS DEFINITELY WISE, BUT HE IS GOD MADE MAN

If you believe in the second concept (wise but not divine), do you still consider yourself Christian (or are you of another faith)?

I AM BORN-AGAIN, NON-DENOMINATIONAL CHRISTIAN AND PROUD OF IT

There are 'cults' who say they are christian but because they do not believe Jesus is God they are not Christian. Christianity is the belief that there is ONE God in 3 Divine Person. He is a Triune god. The first person is The Father, The second person is the Son who is Jesus and became man and died to restore our fellowship witht he Father after Adam the first man sinned. The third person is The Holy Spirit who was sent to the earth to be our conselor, comforter and guide after Jesus arose into heaven once he was resurrected from the tomb. Some of these religions say they believe in God but they do not honor Jesus as God but only as the son of God. This separates them from true Christianity. You have to believe that all three persons of the Trinity are God in three divine persons, father, son, holy spirit for you to be a true christian. This is not the only thing that separates you from being a true christian vs a cult. I have a site below that you can read that will explain a lot of other ways that the counsel of churches decides whether a group is truly following the Bible or altering its true foundation for their own beliefs and desires.

There is a third choice -that Jesus of History became Jesus the divine, in the ordeal of the Cross. All three beliefs should fall loosely under the heading of christian, but maybe with a little c.

Christians have to believe Jesus is divine and born without sin. If we did not believe this, we would then believe in a less than perfect God. Who wants that?

Jesus is the son of God and is God. . He claims in the Bible that He and God are one. . He also calls himself "I Am" . . God said to Moses, . . " I Am Who I Am. .

Muslims believe that Jesus was born of a Virgin Birth but does not believe he is the son of God. . Wow. .

    Number 1

For those who aren't sure if he ever really lived on this earth...do a little google search for non-Christian historians that have studied the life of Jesus. You'll find plenty of evidence. Of course, once you are convinced he existed then you have to deal with what he claimed....to be one with God.
