very good chance. the only way they will win is if the other team beats themselves. all of these other teams should have enough hunger (to make the playoffs, become a .500 team, or shed the previous years woes ... unlike the Lions) to continue the trend and beat the Lions.
shoot, if we can't even beat the Texans or Bears or Vikings, why would we be able to beat anyone else?
i agree; cincinnati has a better chance. besides, they have something to prove. i don't think the Lions do. and i don't think that THEY think they do.
side note: some say it's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for a college team to beat a pro team. i understand the reasons, but riddle me this... what if a USC or LSU or Georgia or Texas team were allowed to wear the jerseys of an NFL team (so that the Lions wouldn't know)... i think that out of 10 games playing each other, the Lions would lose at LEAST once. not cuz college teams are good (yes, i agree generally w/ the concept that pros are several steps above college), but JUST because the Lions are SO good (or bad) at beating themselves and falling apart. food for thought.
add - yeah, let's ruin another first round draft prospect's promising career. can you imagine what calvin johnson would be doing on a decent team? aye carumba!
