Well. How many team had their arena feed up with 21 273 viewers for each preseason, season and play-off games since the lock-out return? How many team had to say : "We are full" to about as much people as there were in at every single play-off game last year? How many teams had to make publicity to avoid riots after wins?

It is clear Canadians are considered to be Gods in Quebec.

Going even deeper in ranking than it ever happened after winning their last cup and this, for near 12 years of total misery, while conserving their benches full.

They are the NHL model in terms of Fan-team relationship and not even a single team comes near to get such support, attraction and love: Canadians are being watched by over 1.3 million people in Quebec which is about 1/6 of all the province.

Can you give me any other team in any other sports feeding their stadium at every game and getting twice this amount in play-offs while keeping their fan level at 16%of all the living humans in their respective State or province?

Of course no. MTL Canadians have the best fan club in all sports; no other team can say they are the new religion of their people.

The Flyers and Detroit both have really enthusiastic fans. And there are tons of teams that sell out almost every night. Sell-outs are an unfair way to judge fan enthusiasm. The Devils never sell out but that is because they have more seats than most arenas and the seats are more expensive!! I would go to EVERY devils game if i could afford the $200 ticket for the good seats and another $200 ticket for my friend

The Flyers have some very loyal supporters. I once went to one of those Meet & Greet events where I met this older lady...probably in her 70's, very petite and very frail...who had been a Flyers' season ticket holder since 1967.She stood there and gave Bobby Clarke a piece of her mind over a trade she didn't aprrove of. Totally blew me away.

The Toronto Maple Leafs bring in more attendance revenue than any other team, year after year. They have by far and wide the largest fan base in the NHL.

You can't say a certain team. Of course everyone is gonna say there favorite team. Every NHL team has the best fans, i don't care if its even a team like LA,Nashville, or even Florida. Every team has the best fans, even if they don't sell out, every night.

Not from experience, but my estimation from what I've heard/know...

    Best: Montreal

    Worst: Phoenix

No matter how the Habs are doing, the Montreal faithful flock to get drunk and cheer their Canadiens on. And from what I hear, placing an NHL franchise in the middle of the desert was not good strategy...

**Of the American teams... I'd probably say Detroit.

i could say that extra human beings quite help the Toronto Leaf's becauseeeeeeeeeeeeee the stadium/group is placed in Toronto, a city of around 4 million human beings! As for Ottawa they don't look to be even a million million... that is why logically, the Senator's would have much less followers.

Besides Canadian teams (easily the Oilers and Habs have the most rabid and loyal fans), I would say the following have really good fan support:

    *Rangers

    *Flyers

    *Penguins

    *Sabres

    *Blackhawks (as of late)

    *Avs
