@ massage- heat olive oil up and rub it on the childs belly in the circular motion. It usually helps to get bowels moving, release gas, and reduce cramping which is important in reducing the pain of colic in the stomach. (give him or her tummy or back rubs )

@ take a whole white onion, peel it, cut it into chunks and put it into a pot of water, enough to cover the onion and let it boil until the onion almost disappears. let it cool down and give half of a small (baby) medicine dropper. It helps
@ Boil one cup of water then pour over a teaspoon of anise, fennel, or cumin seeds. Let sit no longer than 15 minutes, then after cooled enough for your infant, let him or her drink. Works wonders. For infant give 2-4 spoon or dropper.
@ Boil 2 To 3 leavesof mint (pudina) in water, mix it with sugar and give to baby.It really works for colic babies.
@ Gripe Water - give gripe water (can get from any medical shop) ,1 tablespoon 5-6 times a day every day. It helps and is like tonic.
@ Avoid sugar. Nursing mothers should also avoid sugar.
@ After feeding baby ,donot forget to make the baby burp while patting on her/his back. It prevents in formation of gas in the babies stomach.
@ Avoid putting your baby in tight diapers and clothing that put pressure on his tummy.
@ Avoid placing your baby flat on his back for long time.
