The best one Ive ever used is the Henry, for around a 100 quid you wont by a better hoover. These things last ages and wont break like your crappy dysons

Our House hold has used a Panasonic Electronic power controled MC-663 Model

for 15 years. I've changed the drive belt every two years. I changed the beater brush bar once.

The bags are "U" and very available.

It operates wonderfully and is powerful.

I can't buy a new one till this one wares out.

And It keeps going and going.

Hope you find a good one!

I believe that Meile are the most reliable vacs ... try the Which? website for reviews.

Look on Amazon for user ratings as well.

I have a Bosch which has been reliable.
