How long does it take to cook a giraffe?
I was thinking about cooking one for dinner

Apricot and Walnut Giraffe recipe
ingredients
1 x 1,700 kilograms (3,800 pounds).Giraffe
salt and pepper
150 g (6 oz) crustless white bread
1 small onion peeled and quartered
100 g (4 oz) dried apricots
75 g (3 oz) walnuts
1 size 3 egg
method
1. Season the inside of the Giraffe.
2. Break the bread into pieces and place in the processor bowl and chop finely.
3. Add the onion, apricots, walnuts and seasoning and process until finely chopped.
4. Add the egg and process to mix.
5. Stuff the Giraffe, secure with string and roast at 190°C, 375°F, Gas No. 5 for 9 hours, basting occasionally during cooking.
serve hot on a bed of hamsters with a side of coleslaw and otters nads.
or, simply go to your local KFG (found on most retail parks and shopping centres) and try one of their delicious Giraffe tower burger meals.

30 minutes per kilogram, plus an hour, that's with a fan-forced oven. Otherwise 40 mins per kilo. You will get plenty of neck chops, more than you need, but they will keep in the freezer for up to 3 months.

If it's just the breast-6 hours on Gas mark 6
If it's the long legs they'll need a few hours more.

Now there's a unique question. I hope you have a big enough oven. or a bbq pit. LOL chances are though, it's going to take a "long" time to cook it.
