HERE IS A MATH TRICK SO UNBELIEVABLE THAT IT WILL STUMP YOU.

1. GRAB A CALCULATOR---NOT AN ADDING

MACHINE. (YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DO THIS ONE IN YOUR HEAD)

2. KEY IN THE FIRST THREE DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE

NUMBER (NOT THE AREA CODE)

3. MULTIPLY BY 80

4. ADD 1

5. MULTIPLY BY 250

6. ADD THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER

7. ADD THE LAST 4 DIG ITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER AGAIN.

8. SUBTRACT 250

9. DIVIDE NUMBER BY 2

Without using the calculator I could count that the answer is the original phone number.

Trick does only work on seven digit phone numbers, though.

x is the first part of phone number, y is the second part

[(80x+1)250+2y-250]/2

(80x+1)125-y-125

=80*125x+125+y-125

=10000x+y

not bad, it didn't stump me nor do i think its unbelievable though. its just an algorithm that calculates your phone number.

its like enter your first 3 digits of your number.

multiply by 10000

add last for digits of your number.

except slightly more complex.
