HERE IS A MATH TRICK SO UNBELIEVABLE THAT IT WILL STUMP YOU.

1. GRAB A CALCULATOR---NOT AN ADDING

MACHINE. (YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DO THIS ONE IN YOUR HEAD)

2. KEY IN THE FIRST THREE DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE

NUMBER (NOT THE AREA CODE)

3. MULTIPLY BY 80

5. MULTIPLY BY 250

7. ADD THE LAST 4 DIG ITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER AGAIN.

8. SUBTRACT 250

Without using the calculator I could count that the answer is the original phone number.

Trick does only work on seven digit phone numbers, though.

x is the first part of phone number, y is the second part

[(80x+1)250+2y-250]/2

(80x+1)125-y-125

=80*125x+125+y-125

=10000x+y

not bad, it didn't stump me nor do i think its unbelievable though. its just an algorithm that calculates your phone number.

multiply by 10000

except slightly more complex.

Sorry to tell you that the resulting number is not my phone number.

I calculated it twice.
